Ghyllmount Dental Awards

We were delighted to win this national award (Dental Check By One)  which encourages patients to bring their children in for a check up by the time they are one year old.

The award, presented by CDO England, Sara Hurley and BSPD's President, Jenny Harris, is presented by NASDAL to recognise the outstanding commitment of practices to the DCby1 campaign.

Mrs Jenny Harris, President of BSPD, commented: 'This award seeks to recognise and celebrate the successful implementation of the Dental Check by One initiative into practice. To that end, Ghyllmount Dental Practice impressed the judges by showing their support of DCby1 through engaging with their child patients from the very outset. They encourage new parents to register their children straight away and to start bringing them along from birth. Ghyllmount is a truly worthy winner of this award having embedded the concepts of Dental Check by One, not only at a practice level - but also within the local community.

Another trip down to London today for the Oral Health Awards 2018!!
Huge congratulations to Linda Holmes winning Best Therapist of the year, well deserved Linda. We are very proud of her achievments. 

We were very honoured to have been selected to receive an award from Professor Nairn Wilson CBE, President of the BDA (British Dental Association) during the annual conference of National Oral Health Promotion Group at Manchester today.

This is in recognition of our efforts during National Smile Month 2014. Verity Ellis, Shiona Anderton and John Lewis went to collect the award and represent the team at Ghyllmount . This came as a very unexpected surprise to us all.

Many thanks to the people of Penrith who helped us with our campaign last year.

We were absolutely delighted to return from the Oral Health awards 2017 in London having won 5 awards there.

We were crowned winners of the Best New Patient Campaign and won the judges award of the night for Best Prevention Practice in the UK as well as winning Highly Commended for Best Therapist, Best Children’s Care and Best Community Initiative.

Many congratulations to Eleanor Mounsey on her Highly Commended award for Practice Manager of the Year. She was thoroughly spoiled at the Towergate Care Awards yesterday and treated to lunch at the Dorchester followed by the ceremony hosted by Denise Van Outen.

Best Team (North) Highly Commended

The whole team attended the awards at The Private Dentistry Awards, London and were treated to a glamorous champagne reception at Park Plaza Hotel Westminster before a three-course dinner and the awards presentation.

We are absolutely delighted to receive the award for Best Child Friendly Practice in the whole of the UK. We are very proud of the service that we offer to our child patients and work very hard to earn their trust and build lifelong relationships with them. We try to make a visit to the dentist fun, instead of an experience that should be feared.

Winning Highly Commended award Best Team in the North, over so many other wonderful dental practices was quite over whelming. When we reflect and look back at our achievements, we are all extremely proud of our hard work and the service we offer to our clients.
