Support and sponsorship request for future Olympian
Ghyllmount Dental were pleased to support and hand over a cheque for £500 to 16 year old Jed Thompson, a talented athlete from Penrith. Jed is well on his way to achieving his goal of becoming world and Olympic Karate Champion
Jed’s family have supported him as he has progressed but as the level of training and competitions increase, so does the expense. Only next month he flies to Russia, in May Bulgaria and Croatia in Jun...e. Jed receives no funding for this. It is totally self-funded.
Jed is now reaching out to the local community and would be very grateful for any sponsorship or support of any kind to help him reach his goal of representing Penrith and the UK in the 2020 Olympics at Tokyo.
John Lewis from Ghyllmount Dental said “We have been pleased to support Jed as he moves forward with his dream to become an Olympic Champion. It would be great if our community would really get behind Jed and support him with this very exciting venture”
If you think you are able to help or support Jed in any way please contact Karon Kirkland at Ghyllmount Dental Practice. O1768 862291 or email [email protected]
